Well we left the Hotel Kaiserhoff this morning at 8.50 for the main train station.
In hindsight I wish we had chosen to take all travel through Europe on the train system as it is so wonderful and guaranteed no turbulence !!
Seriously though, lol. The trains throughout Europe are lovely, very relaxing, the sights along the way …
We were picked up from the hotel at twenty past nine and taken to the Mirabell Palace to pick up the main coach, it was packed, but we managed to find three seats together. Our first stop was Leopoldskron Palace, where the children go into the water when then come back from the boating trip, the view of the palace was amazing, Prince-Archbishop of …
When I left you last, we were heading towards Vienna, Austria. Conveniently, my body decided that one cold in five weeks was not fun enough, why not go for a second? And in that case, why not give Steve a second cold as well? Sharing is caring, after all. Determined not to let a cold get me down, we powered through Vienna on our first day, seeing …

How has this castle rated in the past?
When I last visited this location it was a school and we had to trespass to get some good photos. I voiced the opinion that it should be a bed and breakfast and open to the public and from what I have learned it now is! What a fantastic location for a bed and breakfast! You will wake to the sight of the Untersberg reflected in the lake behind the schloss and greeted with the delicate songs of twittering birds in the trees on the property. It is enough to make you want to burst into song!
