We knew today was going to be a short day, planning on camping out somewhere in the Hills in order to set ourselves up to watch the evenings main attraction, the Lyriad meteor shower. ... The cost was $4.19 a gallon...more BS. But enough complaining. Lynn called our friend Lila, who once lived in Helena. We’re to meet her and her guy on Wednesday. It’s been a long while since we’ve visited, so we’re looking forward to it.

This morning we hiked the Elephant Tree Trail. It’s about a ten mile drive to the trailhead and then a walk of about a mile and a half. The guide that we ...
