April 25, 2015 Today was a "relatively" chill day. Woke up at 0530 before sunrise in order to begin hiking by 0630. My breakfast was two energy bars. My goal was to get into Warner Springs (mile 109.2), 8.2 miles away from camp, in time to pick up my box at the post office (they close at 1330). ... was Applebury, a festival for the picking of the apples. So after wandered in the shops & stores we decided to take a short ride to the Winery holding the fair. ... to meet another old friend, Rhonda, formerly a co-worker of mine at the credit union. Unfortunately, her husband wasn't feeling well and wasn't able to meet us, but we had a lovely lunch at VINEYARD ROSE - the winery's restaurant, and one who's name I particularly liked!
Sunday, we went for a swim, ad just relaxed and enjoyed our beautiful surroundings here at Jojoba Hills - happy we've got another whole week to really get to know the place!

The conference has finished so the real holiday can begin!

We waved bye-bye to the Grand Hyatt and to Downtown and headed east. We went uphill and we went downhill.
