The longer this goes on, the quieter the 200+ folks on the boat become until there is complete silence except for the ensuing debate. ... chips. Yum, have been craving nuts and chips. Went up to the striped church and the old fortifications. Then back for the ferry ride. That's enough of boats, bit over trains and planes too. Our favourite dinner was at the cheapest restaurant we have tried so going back there for dinner. Calamari, chips, salad and seafood spaghetti . Time to finish off the packing. Early start tomorrow, train to Milan leaves at 6.55. One night in Milan then flying HOME ...

... a few people on it to begin with, but before long several large tour groups arrived with their umbrella-toting Guides. I estimated at least 50-80 in each group and there were at least four of them. A similar group also disembarked at Platform 1 during the time I was waiting.

... a Tiramisu that belongs in heaven with the angles, it was so good.

We were entertained by a wonderful Italian singer Gino. Gino, the funny one of the duo paid me alot of undue attention once he found out that I was the only female fluent (well sort of fluent) in Italian in the group.... his English wasn't great, so we made a fine pair - I've never had so many Italian love songs sung to me, I was ready to refer to myself ...
