I never heard of Bergamo, Jane did recommend it to me, and she was so right!

I arrived from Venice with the train, easy, one change in Verona (I start to know this railway station) and another in Treviglio to take the Treno Regionale with terminus in Bergamo. Today we are in Bergamo, a city that has been around since 49BC. BC stands for before christ and AD means for “anno Domini,” which is Latin for “in the year of our Lord.”
We will explore the oldest part of the city today!!!..........(Hope I don't get hit by a car!)
