... markets, some even were setting up with live bands, and lovely food stalls. We were a bit early for them, but managed to try some cheeses, sausages, etc from their sample plates. With only 50 kms to Sully sur Loire, we arrived before lunch, and after not seeing our mates all morning, they rode past us as we entered town. There was much waving and Bonjours. For once, we found our hotel easily. It's a beautiful little boutique hotel, with only 9 rooms, ...

... were left as they were for us all to enjoy. The chateau itself is amazing but the grounds were a little disappointing. Just lawn area, with a little moat along the front. It may not have made the news everywhere but there was a discovery more important than anything the Hadron Coillider can throw up, more significant than water being found on Mars. Today scientists made a definitive breakthrough as they discovered a link between what is written in this blog and what happens the next day. So when I write that of course it is going to rain in bloody France, obviously it doesn't. Or if I stupidly write about ...

A nice long lie in this morning, the girls really do sleep well in Sven and it was 9 before they woke us up. We still tried to tell them it was not morning time yet as I still felt tired and could have done with more sleep. There was still no hot water in the showers so we had to do without again even if we are all getting a bit smelly. So today we wanted to go to Orleans so the girls could maybe learn a bit ...
