We found a grocery store at a small town somewhere along the route, and managed to pick up some sandwiches just before it closed. We had our dinner in a little neighborhood park in this small town somewhere in the Loire valley. We were greeted by a friendly kitty that hung out with us and kept the kids chortling with its antics.

... Thai place in Currumbin) and lazed about on the boat reading for the next few hours. IN the early evening we went looking for wifi and found it at the Office de Tourisme to catch up on email and this blog. Denise made a superb curry for dinner and we finished it with a glass of red and some exquisite cheese. The evening was cool and quiet, the scenery beautiful and I could stay here for a month! Went to bed at about 10:15 -- still light! 1st ...
