Interesting village where Van Gogh lived the last 70 days of his life & where he is buried. He painted 80 paintings & 100+ drawings during this time! Once again we're having unusually nice weather. Last week it was cold & rainy. This afternoon we are sailing back to Paris... Some are touring Versailles & we will pick them up along the river somewhere. I'm enjoying my panoramic windows open and listening to the birds & ...

We continued on in the rain to visit Napoleon's tomb at Les Invalides. We then headed back to the hotel and most of ...

... Unfortunately upon arrival it started to rain and continued for most of the afternoon. Please note the grumpy group picture outside the castle gates! We did, however, visit the inside of the chateau with audio guides. After Versailles, we headed back into the city to see the beautiful Eiffel Tower! The students were so excited! We climbed to the summit, where in spite of the cold and rain, ...

... we visited last year) but it was close, we liked the joint, and didn't necessarily have to go to the actual castle. We found a terrific camp, just over the bridge and on an island in the river, opposite the castle, so we dug in there, and stayed for 2days eventually, despite it having the world's worst wifi which I never actually managed to connect to - I'm quite sure it actually sucked the credit out of my iPad.....and at one attempt I waited for almost 30 ...
