The classes this month are more difficult than they were for the first month. We have Oral Comprehension, Writing Comprehension, Oral Production, Writing Production and Phonetics classes. The grading scale in France is very different than the US, so it's hard to gauge where I'm at. Their grades go up to 20, and it's very very rare for someone to get a 20/20. ... Somehow I still manage to stay out late and try my best in class, though I do think the grading is harsh. I can sleep when I'm back in the states is what I keep telling myself, plus the coffee machines at the institute help out quite a bit.
