    ... moving on.

Last stop for the day is Senso Ji Temple. This is the golden temple and where everyone comes hoping that the gods will bestow good fortune on them. Now knowing today is also the day of the Samba festival. Just like a mini Rio Carnival there are floats, people dancing in scantily clad clothing and samba music competing from each passing group. I come up on the wrong side of the street and have to fight the ...

Our morning tour starts at the Tokyo Tower and we enjoyed a clear panoramic view of Tokyo. It was wonderful. Clear skies, sunny day and no lines for us since we are on a tour. Anna wants to get her fortune so we peel off from the group to ...

... you can't get a good sense of the city. By the end of the day I must have wasted nearly 4 hours walking around just because I was lost. Honestly I think I'll just stick to the subway system from now on, it's a fairly complex system too but at least it only has one consistent map and there is some logic to its organization!

After some mindless searching and a quick visit through Sensoji Temple (apparently one of Tokyo's most famous temples), I found ...

    Driving Me Crazy!

... I'd loose my license for "fleeing the scene of an accident". We have been told to call the base and STAY PUT even if the other person leaves. Even if the Japanese police were there and have finished, we must stay until someone from the base comes. And drinking? Drinking and driving is never ok, but here, the "legal limit" is .3 where in the states it's like .5. They catch more people for DUI's coming through the gate IN THE MORNINGS coming to work ...
