    Lessons learned: I packed too much and never used any of my rain gear. Some items were required in case of a mechanical problem on the road but none occurred. I only had 2 flats, none of which were punctures - one was a failed patch on an old tube and the other was when the valve came off a tube when I was removing the pump.     ... I'd loose my license for "fleeing the scene of an accident". We have been told to call the base and STAY PUT even if the other person leaves. Even if the Japanese police were there and have finished, we must stay until someone from the base comes. And drinking? Drinking and driving is never ok, but here, the "legal limit" is .3 where in the states it's like .5. They catch more people for DUI's coming through the gate IN THE MORNINGS coming to work ...

Raelyn whacked her head good on one part of the equipment, then on our way back inside to get an ice pack I stubbed a toe on a low step.
