Our travels have taken Kathy back to her childhood home. We ventured up into Michigan to visit Spring Lake. Our first stop was St. Mary's Church. We found out they tore down the original church. Where the church once stood sits a playground. The new church which stands on the other side of the old rectory, is modern and big. ... Iowa was more of a swim then a bike ride. Very heavy rains but the winds remained a head of me - at a gas stop before Des Moines - I heard that a tornado was sighted near Des Moines ( I was about 50 miles west of Des Moines at that point). When I got near Iowa city the rain was so strong and consistent that I pulled off and hung out at a McDonalds and watched the weather channel with a number of cars who also pulled off. He piloted the plane while she hung out of the plane’s window to take the photos, he said.“I think this is fantastic. The design really looks nice and it’s very intricate.
