          ... ride through a National Forest and the mountains. For most of the ride the road was newly paved, so that made it nice. The road runs along the Swift River.           Vermont is simply beautiful with its blend of bucolic farmland, mountains and picturesque small villages. We chose to stay in Fairlee as I liked the look of the cosy little cabin that was situated around Lake Morey. What an amazing little haven of beauty it was.
