      ... br> The flight to Bozeman was almost 2 hours on a propeller pencil plane with 2 kids who'd had enough. Arrival reminded us of arriving in Williamtown in Newcastle. Small regional, baking hot and small but cheery terminal. The Avis car hire process was much smoother this time and we hit the road for the 1.5 hour drive to West Yellowstone.

      ... rising 6 – 8 feet in the air. The pool of water is so blue you want to swim in it. To the left of the geyser were mud bubbles. We headed back to our bikes. We encountered several families on the way back. While the bike and hiking trails are rather level, the stones and you bike on along with the sun made the trip back to the car miserable. I think we were all tired, sweaty, smelly, and filthy.

      ... and a wolf (barely, with binoculars/camera). We visited a museum that we have stopped at before on the history of the park ranger. It was fairly small, but very interesting. The guy manning the museum today was a retired ranger who had worked at several NPS sites, including Katmai & Gates of the Arctic in Alaska.
