... a meadow. It was incredible and we hoped it would be a little taste of more sightings to come. It was late by the time we reached Madison Campground and we were all starving, so food was on the cards ASAP once we'd parked. A friendly German family in an RV next to us kindly lent us the essentials that we'd forgotten, allowing us to enjoy a home-cooked spag bol. Bryony basically inhaled this. Another night of motion-free sleep followed - utter ...

... for the Mariners to have a winning season - you needed to have patience. Who in Florida would ever use the Mariners as a reference point! At this point we were learning geyser lingo having heard the volunteer note that we were in a D5, meaning the fifth delay of the eruption. Although it seems like we accomplished a lot today, it is amazing that it took the whole day (8:30 to 5:30) to only hit a few spots in the park. Like I said before, Yellowstone is absolutely huge and there is just no way to hit the whole park in the little time here that we have. That being said, we had a great day and I am glad that we were able to hit as many spots as we did!

... for Harlie to walk around and she loved seeing everything. After the paint pots we went and saw the Norris Geyser Basin. We put Harlie in her backpack and hiked around seeing all the pots and geysers. The backpack was AWESOME! I'm so glad that we bought it, it helped a ton! Next was Mammoth Hot Springs, we drove the scenic drive around the springs and then stopped at some picnic tables under some pine ...
