        ... letting her walk that narrow road alone. We left them some extra water and continued beck down to the ranger at West Thumb. We left all the info with an extremely calm ranger(not sure what he was going to do with the information!). Hope they made out OK. So glad we could be of some help.

        19th-20th July So yesterday morning we were up at 4.30, and leaving camp by 5am to go and do a wildlife drive through Yellowstone. We got to the park just as the sun was rising, but unfortunately it was very misty and we couldn't see very much, as a result we drove to another set of thermal springs, these ones were all mud geysers, and had a look at them while the mist dispersed. We had been warned by family and friends that Yellowstone would be crowded but I had thought that would be inside the park, not outside.         Yellowstone is truly an amazing place. You are essentially driving on an active volcano, one that when it does blow again will destroy most of the U.S. But who can think about that with the gorgeous scenery and bison everywhere!
