The winning five rocks from 1953 were on display (they all looked equally spherical) and there was a photo of the 1951 Round Rock Queen proudly displaying the five winning rocks for that year… Happy days.

... we go to next stop of Port Townsend. It was out out of the way but a must do, or so we thought. When we arrived it was a gorgeous town. VERY quaint and charming, so much so that we could not find a spot to park. We gave up fighting the crowds and headed out only to see park and ride parking for RVs. It was getting late so we headed to Gig Harbor for our last night in the RV. We thought we would be in the harbor. WE CAN NOT EVEN SMELL WATER FROM HERE! We had our last dinner ...

... was ‘paddleboarding’ which is akin to punting but with paddling instead of pushing against the ground. True to form, I fell in a few times just like I did years ago in my Oxford punting experience, but with the lake being a damn site warmer than any body of water in the UK, this was not a problem.
