... interesting man our 3rd president was. He did all the architectural drawings for his home without any formal training. But what a reader he was, “I cannot live without books”, he said, and on that I will have to agree.

Unfortunately, Thomas Jefferson died leaving a large debt. He never received any compensation for his 40 years of service to our country, he overspent in developing Monticello, and real estate values ...

Not really much to say, the thunderstorms rolled in quick and we put up the UL3 in a big hurry, but it was too late.....basically became a shallow swimming pool.....nothing to do but fall asleep and try to forget today. Friday, May 30 2014 Made it to punchbowl shelter to try to dry stuff out. Weird spider right before shelter, it looked like an armored version of Spiderman.....ugly ...

... He was apprenticed by his mother as a tailor. He came to Greeneville, TN and opened up a tailor shop and became a very rich man...the richest man in town. He was very involved in politics (Congressman, Governor of Tennessee, US Senator) and after refusing to relinquish his seat as US Senator when Tennessee seceded from the Union, Johnson became a running mate with Lincoln as a Southerner in favor of keeping the Union. And ...
