... rocks and we couldn't see where we had to step. They were also huge leaves so sometimes it felt like I was going snowboarding down the mountain on leaves. I have little feet so this wasn’t a problem for Chris. Haha! The views at the top of the trail were fantastic and we took some great photos. When we got to the bottom of the trail we met an Appalachian hiker that had been on the trail for 5 days. He was super sweet and asked us for a ride ...

... swayed things in Colorado’s favor for me.

Charlottesville’s downtown area is almost two miles from campus which results in two centers of commercial activity in town. The eight-block pedestrian mall is one of the longest and liveliest I’ve seen in small cities around the country, and downtown looks like it’s becoming a popular place to live with plenty of new apartments and loft-type buildings. ... walk in from the cowboy parking lot sleeping area......luckily we were picked up by Dragon Lady around the Outfitters! We were showered, cleaned, fed, and our clothes done by 10am! We went to the outfitters when they opened. Turns out Smartwool Sock company has a life time time warranty against defects (not normal wear you cheap *******s that try to scam companies!) But they require you to send the socks to them, then they mail you a set back. So, after 8 years ...

One More Down and A Lot of Driving

... McCormick Farm (you remember him, the inventor of the mechanical reaper to harvest grain), and of course the Civil War battlefield of Shenandoah. Virginia is full of history. I think I've only been here once and that was chasing a hurricane up the east coast for State Farm. I remember 50 SF employees in the Richmond HI Bar, all intently watching the Weather Channel. Very strange!

Got to Waynesboro and asked about a local ...
