... t see any explosions at the gunnery range. The Chocolate mountains were off to the west. They were a deep brown color and very pretty. After Palo Verde we passed through an agricultural area with pretty good roads. I rode the bike again. The road going into Blythe was not so great but the cars and trucks gave me enough room on the road. There were no shoulder on this part of the road. ... was nothing like I expected! I think 'ramshackle' would be the best word to describe it! It was just a couple of old trailers and few funny wee buildings with some horse stables, in the middle of the desert (full of cacti). After a long weekend of drinking, partying and not much sleep AK and SJ needed a little chill time. So after we packed up our camping gear we left Coachella and headed to the nearest McDonalds to use the free WiFi. ... got to our room and then stayed up heaps late. We then went out for dinner to KFC. Yuk, but we also peeked in Wal-Mart.
