Sat and ate the Pizza at the hostel. The polarised filters I'd ordered had arrived to, so fitted them to the lenses. Pretty good for cheap filters.

The Adventure North Tour is not heavily advertised like the great barrier reef or other rainforest tours. This small operation took me and two other middle aged couples on what was a very unique and personalized tour day. We started at the home and studio of a contemporary aboriginal artist. ... met Kara and her beautiful two year old daughter Kiya in the downtown area of Cairns and walked to the Esplanade. There, the kids had a blast swimming in the Lagoon, a huge swimming pool that overlooks the ocean.

We moved from there to the playground down the way, while Kara moved the car closer to that area. Elizabeth loved Kiya and enjoyed doting on her. The playground was huge - the Aussies certainly know how to do playgrounds ...

... Oasis was full. They're numbers two and three on TripAdvisor and we're getting weary of looking. Their shuttle instructions also included a code for the gate and an invitation to one of their hammocks while we waited to check in. We arrived at 4am and slept, despite one end being tied to a tree full of squealing bats.
