Beautiful Belize Beach
... our coffee down to our log and watched our ocean from our beach, then lay on our extremely comfortable sand (it seemed like it was almost a grainy sand, possibly from coral, which didn't stick to you which was even better :-) until we were feeling hot so went for a swim in our water :-) We repeated this a number of times each day but did occasionally allow other people onto our beach :-)

... small, I couldn't figure out what to do with myself at first. So I just sat on the porch listening to the sound of the water. I realized that by slowing down and really taking a look at nature I saw so many little things that I miss everyday. Later I walked outside, and some of my peers where thoroughly engrossed with a line of leaf-cutter ants. LOL, it's funny what happens when you take everything away.

Jungel, Strand und viele Dirtroads
... bewohntes Dorf im südlichen Belize. Das Wetter zeigt sich gerade von seiner besten Seite und wir geniessen einige Tage an diesem wunderschönen Küstenabschnitt, bevor wir uns dann in 2-3 Tagen nochmals auf die Spuren der Mayas begeben. Caracol, eine der abgelegensten und mächtigsten Ruinen liegen vor uns, und eine ziemlich rauhe Piste, die anscheinend nur mit 4x4 zu bewältigen ist... aber Lotti wirds schon richten :-)

Almost lost at sea
... mud clouds, untill we lost them. No manatees but it was fun anyways.
Should be noted that if your looking for an aquatic creature thats only comes up for air every 5minutes (if feeding) or 15 minutes (if sleeping) you want clear water not the murkey water we were trawling through.

Here Kitty, kitty, kitty.....
... and the map is a colorful silhouette of the trails. The map is hand painted and very simple. Each path is a different color and the names painted on as an afterthought in a crooked alphabet and if there are too many letters to put in one place, just use the trail line as a hyphen to get all the letters on the map. Very endearing in combo with the cartoon kitties, I thought.
