Amazing place covered in coconuts shells and hammocks, all constructed with wash up from the tsunami. Nice staff, and good restaurant.

... they should've left it open to air which worried me, the stress of this with how much I panic and finding hotels and more transport was a bit much at that point! We decided to find a clinic in Ao Nang, where we booked our hotel and headed there straight away. ... off at Ao Nang beach. Holy cow, it's beautiful here! As in, drop dead gorgeous. This is WAY better than any of the beaches I've been to in the US, although the PNW's coast has its own rustic beauty.

After we got off the ferry we walked to our room which was about 15 minute walk from the main pier, very small but pretty good and out of the main village in a more quieter area.
