Amazing place covered in coconuts shells and hammocks, all constructed with wash up from the tsunami. Nice staff, and good restaurant.

      Thailand Beach Time!

... Animal Welfare society, an amazing charity working with stray cats and dogs. You can even have one sent back to the UK for 200....so tempting. Other highlights were a day of diving where I got my own dive master and amazing visibility. We managed to dive into some caves and I saw an Ornate Ghost Pipefish which was excellent!

All in all, good times were had in Thailand but we were now ready to move on and were both every excited to visit Josh and Chris in Singapore.

... br> But Yeah overall, this part of the Country is now for young people who want a mattress on the floor and can take all the BS and don't care. And want to pay a lot now for just **** accomodations.
      Not for Amy or I.
We prefer the hardworking Thais from up North. Much more friendly and much harder working in general. There is a beauty to the Thais, Though it is all but gone from the Islands.

They also have nightly fire shows which I imagine extremely fun! However they hadn't started yet as we are walking down the beach. It was also interesting to see the tide had gone out about 500 m and all of the longboats we're now resting on the sand but ...

... and get under the water here. It may not be the Maldives but it's fairing rather well considering the surface issues because the health of these sites won't remain if no conservation is done up top.

Finally if you've got the money try some of the local birds nest. People climb poles in Viking Cave in Phi Phi Leh to collect the birds saliva to make this delicacy. It's worth substantially more than gold.

... to Klong Dau beach and came back to pick us up after the sun set! She was so kind! The beach was lovely, white sand and clear waters! Which was bliss UNTIL...the boys spotted a giant bright blue jelly fish so we were then too scared to get back in and left no choice other than to grab some shade in a Thai Massage hut! The 'Thai massage with coconut oil' I was lead to believe - is much more relaxed than the usual Thai ...
