... call "wave surges". So when Sheila and I were crossing the creek, we experienced these wave surges which was similar to an ocean wave except smaller. So as we cross the creek, we would find ourselves in shallow water (maybe 6"). Then all of a sudden the wave came and the water was a foot and a half deep. Our streak continues, going through the mountains we didn't see any wildlife. Talked to a fellow RVer and he mentioned that he and his wife seen lots of elk and deer when they were traveling at dusk. We might take a run at dusk while in South Fork.

Tomorrow we head to Great Sand Dune National Park.
