... stop or two along the way as we were heading to the San Juan Valley, but as usual with huge scenery, it is impossible to catch the feel of the view...or at least I am unable to. I really wish some of you first class photographers were along to take the shots...need a job Dave N.? Our first stop in Pagosa Springs was at the local Humane Society who had an advertised Bark Park.  Sheeba was able to get out and run around ...

... my perimeter cord with the copper fishing bells on it. I only had enough cord to secure about 75%2525 of the perimeter. I decided to give my pepper spray a test shot or two and draw a pepper line across two trails entering my area. I figure that would give any animals pause. I found a nice place online called 'High Country Ranch', it was ranked #1 in Pagosa on TripAdvisor (a GREAT site for finding info about good places to stay eat etc., you just have to take some of the reviews with a grain of salt), so I booked a cabin which will be ready for us when we get there.
Pagosa Springs is the 3rd largest Hot Spring (I'm told by my 'Concierge') in the US, and a nice small 'ski' town. Nearby Wolf Creek Ski resort gets more snow on ...

Other places to stay in Pagosa Springs
