Nadat het eerste boek is uitgelezen komen we zondagmiddag 2 uur lokale tijd aan in Alice Springs. Op dit leuke stationnetje midden in Australië kunnen we met een tourbus mee en worden we afgezet bij het camper verhuurbedrijf. Via de Rainbow Valley terug naar Alice Springs
Vandaag de 460 km lange terugweg naar Alice Springs.
Met als tussenstop de Rainbow Valley. Voor de laatste keer een stuk onverharde weg naar een vallei met rotsen met allerlei kleuren gesteente. Vandaar de naam ;)

Lots to see at Alice
Spent over a week in Alice, its beautiful and there's lots to see. The Mac Donnell Ranges dominate the landscape. They stretch over 640k running east-west surrounding the town. When you arrive from the south on the Stuart Hwy you have to travel through a small gap in the ranges. The road,railway line and the mostly dry Todd river all pass through …
