      ... in south NSW!

      Bootie Bootie was nice but the weather made it a tad harder - no swimming or boogie boarding and not even much fishing - nice bush walk tho!!
      We had fun in the Tuncurry Forster townships and had a swim in the Forster rock pool. The water in the river was so clear and a gorgeous turquoise colour - truly non river like!

      ... The kids loved the indoor play centre and we braved the indoor heated pool, even though the day saw me wearing a jumper for the first time in months. The pool was great for the kids though, with a large section in differing stages of depth for the kids to play on. They loved it. Cath took a day out at the local library to study while I looked after the kids. We did however decide to move on as on the first day ...

      ... amongst a number of spots on the north coast that has a great easterly position. The whales migrate north to warmer waters during May - July and return during August - October to the rich southern feeding grounds in the Antarctic.

      We spent our days walking along the break wall, Kev doing a spot of fishing, lunching at the pub and trying to keep dry during the wet, windy days.

      The Park did organise a morning tea ...

      ... who with Libby made Nick as comfortable as could be, and soon began the first of three attempts of CPR as Nick's breathing became more laboured and eventually stopped. After the first two attempts they looked at this young man and against all hope tried one last time, but to no avail.       Left patonga at 10 this morning and had a bit of a mishap i forgot to put the pin in the fridge door so when we went uphill everything fell out ooops!
