We were pleased to find some lovely changes in the center, most importantly improved internet. Good enough that I can actually write my blog from my room. In rural Spain sometimes even cell signals are elusive, so good speed internet can be a miracle!
Lots of other things have been spruced up, new beds and linens. New menus with more options offered beyond juicing and of course the usual array of workout and educational classes ...
... in compensation the weather has turned nice and with some friends I drove up into the mountains to do a walk along a headland and past some windmills and it was warm enough for even the butterflies to come out. I have also been wobbling my way around on the motorbike and even used it to take Treacle to a local nature reserve, unfortunately to get anywhere I have to go on a fairly narrow but busy main road and that isn't much fun.

The new site near a village called Verger, where I am booked for two weeks, was a shock; it is best described as a shanty town as at least half the pitches are taken up with ancient caravans that are held together by dirt, string and plastic, around them the owners have planted various tents and awnings though this may be an over exaggeration of the nature of these makeshift structures, and then there are broken ...
... the town which we walked up to and there were little shops and cafes outdoors on the cobbled streets.
We went into the castle which was now a museum and walked around. It turns out that it was a bit of a family mansion and there were old antiques from when they lived there. We could walk up onto the top of the castle and there was a graveyard on the roof and there were views out over the mountains and a lake and the fields. We then had some nice ...
