    ... beautiful beech, maple and ash trees, there sprig leaves looking fresh and bright. The path made its way gently downhill for about 9 km’s and ended at a picnic site where we had lunch. We then retraced our steps back to the van. It was a lovely walk and I love walking through forests, especially when the sun is so hot, but it could have been enhanced by the odd view or two.
