We arrived on Saturday early evening and only left the house on Monday afternoon. In the meantime, lots of chat, eating amazing food, yoga, swimming and meditation. Almost like a fancy spa retreat, only surrounded by mates. After weeks of constantly being on the move, there is great pleasure in just doing nothing very much. Boys toys! A football, Spanish guitar and a ham board and knife were purchased as I sat writing in the foyer. ... in the ocean (yes, in the ocean...on a floaty thingy, haha). We continued on to a beach bar and danced the night away. It was a lovely evening!
Within those few days I was in Roses, I went to Cadaques that is just 30 minutes north of Roses. It is a very small town, but BEAUTIFUL! I hiked 8km to Cap de Creus, visited some virgin beaches, bathed naked in the crystal clear blue mediterranean waters, and I loved every second of it. ...
... 2 1/2 hours away. We meandered our way through Corbieres and eventually made it to Carcassonne, we needed petrol. We filled up and off we headed for Toulouse. The big joke, "The two Wild and Crazy Guys were loose in Toulose!". Our thanks over and over to them for getting us to Toulose so we can get home tomorrow! We are hopefully that these two wild and crazy guys make it back to Cascastel before dark.We had a great vacation...hard to top it!
