Woke up to sunshine today. Cooler than the other mornings but very nice. Great Lake day. Spent most of the day swimming, tubing and dodging airsoft bullets. Somehow the war managed to make its way to the area around the cabin. Nothing like walking outside and having a stray airsoft bullet nearly hit you. The war was on! Riley against Cooper, Kaylee and Conner. There was a lot of ...

... McKenna & Katie laid out on the swim mat but forgot to attach the rope to the dock. Boy were they surprised when they opened their eyes and discovered they had floated to the other side of the island. Cooper and Riley heard their cries for help. This got the boys up and going. They had no choice when it came to working out. Jeff put them through his boot camp. Cooper, Connor, and Riley did not appear very happy. Laurie, McKenna, and Katie chose to run the island several times. I thought this was vacation! Everything gained from the work out, was lost at ...

We were up early today and left the campground by 8 a.m. We are heading to the Upper Peninsula but will stop half way. Made a reservation at a KOA in Roscommon at Higgins Lake. Along the way we traveled Interstate 75 and saw lots of beautiful farmland along the way. Some of it reminded me of PA's Amish Country, Nice and flat/green and you can see for miles on the open road. As we get closer to the campground, the scenary ...

... Kelly joined me in Buffalo, NY, on June 2 and we headed across the Peace Bridge to Canada. There is a small section of Ontario, Canada, that lies between New York and Michigan. We stayed one night in Canada and re-entered the US at Sarnia, MI (Blue Water Bridge), to stay one night in St. Clair.

It is amazing how much easier and more interesting travel is with a co-pilot. Kelly has taken over ...
