          Well, we didnt have a signal while we were traveling thru the cascades, so now i'll do a regular post. Once we completed the way too short and comfortable ferry ride, it was about 3:30 pm and we needed to look for a place to stay before heading deep into the Cascades on hwy 20. We car camped the night before so a cheap motel seemed right. We stayed at the Skagit Motel (see pic).
