Cleaning the bathrooms between 7 and 8? Too early. But, you could catch a bus to town and not need to move the RV. Don't forget to try the Banff Hotel for a drink on the patio....expensive, but beautiful.

Today we left Calgary and headed to Banff. The drive was a short 70 miles through gentle rolling hills that ended at a beautiful National Park and Campground nestled in a valley with several tall mountains around us. The sites were very unique in that they were pull thrus parallel to the street with utilities for full hook ups between us and the …

We are on the road to Lake Louise at 0900 hours in order to beat the crowds. We should arrive no later than 0930. Its a pretty drive to the lake as the road follows the Bow River. The first sign of trouble when we arrive is the sight of a parking monitor at the entrance to the parking lot. I tell her that we have two parties and both are driving …

After yesterday's action-packed day we decided to continue in the same vein today and headed out to nearby Johnson Canyon to do a walk that had been highly recommended by the lady at the Information Centre. With images of Bear 122 flashing into our minds from yesterday as well, we also decided to purchase a can of bear spray before heading out onto …
