We got an Email telling us our cabin number today. Up until now , we had no idea where we'd be, but we hoped for an upgrade- which we got! We are on the Verandah Deck on the starboard side ( right) near the back.

... found that what we thought was the giant was actually the "Sea Lion" and the Giant was actually the "mountain" formation in the park (See the attached picture. The Head is to the right followed by the Adam's Apple, his torso and lower body). We also took the chance to take a short hike to the Sea Lion (also an attached picture) and stopped along the beach of Lake Superior to skip some rocks and enjoy the sun. I never did get my sleep schedule sorted after two nights on a plane . . . after a few days of trying to stay awake all day I just gave up. Oh well. It didn't ruin my time at home!

It wasn't too cold, but there was snow and all in all a PERFECT Christmas. One of my uncle's drove in to spend the actual holiday with us -- very nice to catch up (he's a freelance photographer/ paramedic, well-traveled and all round interesting person).

I ended up in Kakabeka Falls at Happyland Campground. Is a bit expensive here but it's only for one night. The falls look neat so will check that out in the morning. Oh, and guess what? It's raining again!

My car is officially - the sleeper.



p.s. you'll notice a black blob on some of the pics, guess my camera was constipated but seems better now.
