Since we had so much time in the UK, we decided to head south to Cornwall, on the west coast, where we stay in Newquay. Newquay is the UK's surfing capital and to our luck, had some of the best surf they have ever had, apparently. The surf was good though, with waves well overhead.

Sue's ( David Bailey) camera is now fully functional ??? as anything of interest was asked to say 'cheese' - our next problem will be the photos transfer to the blog.
Fortunately this stage was achieved reasonable quickly allowing us some down time to catch up on a few missed zzz's due to the inclement weather last night.
Off to Sainsbury's for dinner, I really know how to give a girl a good time...

Stage Two
2nd April 2012.
Set off from Sancreed at 10.00 am, Ted had his yellow jumper on today because the Sun was shining, although there was a little cloud today. The temperature varied between 9.c and 11.c. We walked for a total of 10.4 miles which took 5 hours. We saw lots of flowers and actually walked through 5 fields of daffodils, first time ever.

The Ups and Downs of Cornish Hills
... the bottom bracket. This was my first day cycling after two days off. And before that three days on. On as in biking ...though I wasn't 'on'! Okay for two days I was. I was flying! I was on fire! I did huge miles both days. I got down to Land's End... the most South Westerly point in England. And then made huge mileage up to New Quay. And that day was mostly in the rain!! And I liked it! I even wild camped in a grove of trees on a hill overlooking the ocean outside of New Quay ...
