    Disappointed

Long walk to adjacent campground for showers and laundry, small sites with limited "greenery".
Also have to pay for showers.
Very basic site with nothing else offered.
I believe it's a private for profit campground. I would rather it be a state or federal campground and the money go to the park.

It's a nice village. Not jazzed about the public pay-as-you-use showers a half mile away. $2.00/8 minutes. Glad we have our own shower in the camper!

Very nice and quiet - convenient to all the places we want to visit. We were very happy to get in as we did not have reservations. Would recommend it to anyone.

We are so glad we were able to stay at Trailer Village in the Grand Canyon Village. We called last minute and they worked with us to get a space for three days. The park is smack in the middle of all the action and an easy walk or shuttle bus from everything you want to do and see at Grand Canyon.
The park is very secure, and the staff is great - they even went out of their way to deliver a fax to us that came in at another hotel in the Village - can you believe that?

Good place if you're going to spend some time at the Grand Canyon

Not the prettiest park and no Wi-Fi are two negatives to this park. However, it is close to everything in the Grand Canyon and is on the shuttle bus route. This really saves time to do more stuff around the canyon.

Left Las Vegas and drove 30 minutes to the Hoover Dam. Went on the Power Plant tour there. Overall, the boys weren't too impressed with Hoover Dam. After that, we drove 5 hours to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Saw some natural wildfires on the road leading to the campground.

The weather forecast for today was for rain which could be heavy rain, so we were pleased when we got up and saw that it was not raining although it was cloudy. After eating breakfast, we walked to the shuttle bus stop at the campground to start our journey along the western end of the rim to Hermit's Rest.

After three days in Page we left early to make the drive to the Grand Canyon. It had been 25 years since we were last there when we took the girls on our summer trip west in 1989. We entered from the east stopping first at Desert View. We climbed to the first level of the Watchtower to get our first view of the canyon. The power of the Colorado …

We awoke to clear skies and bright sunshine. The first real sunshine since we arrived in the park. We decided to visit the places we liked and photograph them again with sunshine rather than clouds. (I apologize for any duplicate pictures from previous days.) The park runs shuttle buses throughout the park, blue in the village, orange to the east …

Wow... So tired. How do people hike to the bottom and come back up? We took the shuttle to South Kaibab Trailhead and hiked down almost eight hundred feet to ooh aah point. Down was fine, but like many times during this trip, going down I knew we had to come back up. It was worth it though. The views were great and it gave a small sense of getting …
