Saturday, September 12, 2015. PCT day146. Miles 2432.7-2457.32. (25 miles). Today was arduous. 25 miles i hiked today, with 7000 feet of climbing and 6750ft of descent. It was definitely a roller coaster ride. I hereby rename this state Washintense. My feet hurt. I was moving fast today. Did the 25 miles in 11 hours flat, and that included a one hour lunch break. ... and there is a mutual respect amongst one another. We are the only people that can understand what each other have gone through.

The road has been winding and many times felt pointless, but i am stronger than i have ever been. Mentally i can seem to cope with any difficulty ahead, and physically no mountain seems like a tough climb.

... they manually hauled water up from the river in 5 gallon cans. It was a private home and garden for entertaining and enjoying and eventually was passed down to the county.
