The park is actually located within the Grand Portage Reservation and co-operated by the DNR and the local Ojibwe nation. As such, there was a nice introduction to the history and culture of the area and people.
This first one is a video, which plays (sideways) on my iPad, not on my laptop. I don't know what I'm doing.
... s Center. It told the story of the silver mining that was done in the area. They also had a bunch of displays showing the local wildlife. No moose were on display.
Today is our last day in Canada for this trip. We will try to find a moose in Minnesota, where there is cell phone reception, better internet reception, and maybe some local TV.
