    ahhh...after a GREAT day riding...headed back to the US!!!

    Rode for 5 hours...dropped the horses off in the pasture, untacked them, watched them roll in the dust, kick up their heels, neigh and whinny and run around the pasture, so happy to be free of us riders!

    Headed down to the scrutinized by the lonely US border agent....she actually went in the trunk ...

    ... Courtney can now say that technically, she has been to Canada as well. There was an old dilapidated building in the middle of the two border crossings. The US custom official told us that it was called the old line house and a tavern and during the days of prohibition when it was illegal for buy alcohol in America. People would walk in one door, buy their alcohol on the Canadian side and then go and drink it on the American side!

    Needing gas I pulled into a Gulf station....ugh...$3.20 A GALLON FOR HIGH TEST.... guess it's so high because they are next to the is what it is when the reserve light is on. We are now on VT 114 and tracing the VT/CN border for awhile before turning south on VT114. This is some spectacular riding in the Northeast Kindom (NEK) of VT. Eventually VT114 turns south through the Kingdom State Forest....another well protected and beautiful piece of NE ...

    Nash Stream Forest has many , hunting, great snowmobiling, wilderness hiking, but we were there to ride of course. One road in and this part had never been ridded by either Tony or myself. All dirt raod that fluctuated between excellent to I would call it mildly bumpy, certainly nothing that slowed us down.
