We spent new years eve at Ober Gatlinburg, We rode the tram up. Unfortunately it was very crowded and took us 2 1/2 hours in line to get on the tram. Was pretty ride up to the top of the mountain. ... home. This time we had to pull over and spend the night close to St. Augustine in Florida.

We celebrated New Years Eve with our kids, my parents, my brother and his girlfriend (and her daughter) plus two friends. We spent more money than we should have on fireworks, but the kids had a BLAST!

... find yourself in Dollywood, trust me, get 2 loaves. Our next day was spent in Gatlinburg, where most of the Smoky Mountains craftsman have their shops. There is an art loop, which will probably take about 1-2 hours, depending on how many stops you make.
