    Supposed to be deals gap day....only 100 miles to go. . Started out at Fairfield Inn and drove around the corner to blue ridge parkway Mixed terrain this day!     Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg the amusement and adventureland of Tennessee. Never seen so many different mini golf courses, go cart tracks, and other attractions lining a main city street. These places are alive with tourists and cause major traffic jams. Don't travel on fridays we learnt.

We are in the Appalachain mountain range, this area of the range is located within the smoky mountains national park.
