... in Dunlap, IL for gas, we got a little side-tracked near Peoria when I confronted Jessica’s GPS (Gertrude) about a wrong turn. Only five minutes of our travel time were lost. After regaling the baby boomers around the breakfast table with tales of Tasmania over our chocolate cake and eggs benedict we headed towards the Effigy Mounds national monument. Travelling through the country back roads we encountered a couple of Amish carts. ... you guys are doing it right. Everyone we met was courteous, helpful, friendly, welcoming, and gracious. A few of them said they really loved working there and that a big part of it was how well their chief took care of all of them. And it showed.
