      ... and almost 50 degrees! We parked at Friendly’s near Spot Pond and walked a section we have never been on, well, I hadn’t. We usually walk along the highway here, but hugging the lake is a small, almost obscure trail that followed the lake and it is like being far out in a woods, except for the freeway noises!       ... Phil really wanted to swim here but beginning to look impossible. We watched TV and read and about 5 pm the weather improved so we headed to the beach. Phil did get his swim and went out quite a ways. He said it felt more buoyant than the Atlantic and it was a comfortable temperature.       ... the yeast infection, but this med should take care of that. Then he did an EKG because he was hearing extra beat in my heart. No results yet, but no call from him is good. Then home and shortly after the Key guy arrived to rekey all my locks to one key. So there are now 6 locks on the same key. Soooo much easier now.       ... plenty early, valet parked and took 2 boxes of books to the room where the ReadBoston event would be. Then walked around the hotel- It is beautiful – Commonwealth Hotel in downtown Boston.       ... clown around. They are good and can sound like any singer they want! They are 3 of a family of 16 children! 8 boys and 8 girls-must have been some interesting house! They are all big lads-at least 6 feet tall and big builds. They were # 11, 12, 13 in birth order. It was a good evening and glad I went. Back home, talked to Phil for a while and off to bed.
