    ... near the water. Figures, right?! Oh well. After lunch, we drove through some very rural parts of Florida to get over to I-95. I thought the small roads stunk, but traffic on I-95 was awful almost the entire way. Lots of major slow sections. What should have been a 10 hr drive is going to take more like 12-13 hrs.     Jan reporting - today we slept in a little bit, then went to the office at Crystal Isles to rent a pontoon boat for the day. They only have one boat to rent, even though there are two there. After looking at them, I would imagine that only one boat works at a time. The one we rented had a 25 hp motor, so we are aren't going anywhere fast. I drove the boat back to the dock at our site and we loaded up for the day. The ...

    ... it. No big deal until one night Bob said I think there is something under the couch you are sitting on. This little mommy mouse had been with us from the Keys, through the Everglades and up to the Tampa area. She had made a nice nest and had 3 babies. It took us awhile but with the help of a few mouse traps we were able to evict these little freeloading rodents.
