Well, we stayed at home for much longer than planned this year. First I had to have my thyroidectomy, and then Jordan & Ash decided to get married on the 10th of May. ... last) and dinner at the The Rainforest Cafe on Regent Street. Beautiful Christmas lights, lovely decorated shop fronts a really fab day! It was very very busy on the streets, a real buzzing atmosphere.

After dinner we were all exhausted and Marni was close to being asleep, so we thought we would catch a black cab back to our apartment. Brody really enjoyed the ride – very different to Australia.

We were met by Niall, our Tally Ho, guide at 2.30pm at the Walrus Bar and hostel, and also Courtney from New York, who was the only other member of our group. ... manager came over to our table telling us he had a surprise for us. He had noticed our Jewish new year's celebration and sent over glasses of limoncello for the adults with a white platter inscribed with 'Shana Tova' drizzled in chocolate sauce for us. It was such a lovely touch! (Even if the words were written in backwards order).

A lovely end to our London leg. We are all so sad to be leaving and could easily have stayed another ...
