Large open park with fairly old amenities blocks, needs maintaince in all areas.
Centrally located near the CBD, beaches and breakwater.

Another excellent location right beside the breakwater.

The sites are a bit messy though and not at all even.

The water "falls" out of the shower heads - terrible pressure - but at least the heads are movable.

Nice bbq area and the amenities block is so close to the camp area

We made the huge leap of 32km to camp at Sundowner Caravan Park in Port Macquarie.
We need to get a couple of things done to the F250 so it made sense to move up towards the
      larger town.
The park is right beside the breakwater wall and whatever time of day there are people walking, running or cycling along it,
      Public are allowed …

      10th October
Well what a start to the day, we both slept in. This is unheard of!

On the road but it was only a 120km drive today.

We'd heard about South West Rocks. So we decided to check it out. We stopped for morning smoko then back on the road. What a nice place to spend a few days at. But we continued south.

      Hi family and friends,
I'll try not to bore you with what we eat.... But I don't think we've lost any weight.
Can't believe we left home on 11th October, good early start, first stop Buladelah, a favorite coffee stop. All was going well, then about 14klms out of Port Macquarie, Paul realized fuel was getting low..... …

Funny how Australia - a bloody huge continent stretching for mile upon endless mile - can be shrunk into somewhere the size of the Isle of Wight. I'd just arrived in Coffs Harbour, home of the Big Banana, when I received an email from my favourite corporate lawyer Emma - she who goes camping in the Northern Territory with a Mulberry handbag and ...
