60th Surprise

We walked 3 miles this morning, showered and got ready for the 60th Birthday Party for Kay, the owner of the park.

Had breakfast at the pavilion and waited for her to leave to go to her hair appointment. After she left we decorated the pavilion with all kinds of 60 stuff. Got done around noon and then came home for a nap before the party.

Yesterday was our Soup and Salad Pot Luck @ 1:00pm. There is a full park now and it was crowded but the food was awesome. They also have Texas Holdem at 6pm.

Today we started our day with our usual walk. We did a three mile walk today.

Got our paperwork from the SOWERS and there are three projects in this area. We put a bid in on one, do not know if they ...

... for such a long time...or heard a band. We also haven't line danced forever so it was great exercise but I know we will be sore tomorrow. Used muscles we have forgotten we had!

... went to find some Elk. We were lucky and saw the massive, beautiful animals with huge racks. We tried to get several pictures, but it was late and too dark to get a great shot of them. Hope you enjoy the ones that we did get.

... Blanca trip. Betty had a swelled ankle also so she did not walk much today. At the top of the mountain we were surprised to see a gravel road and a home which was probably worth near $1mil.
