    ... but the magic show was cancelled, bummer). Tricia and I entertained Jim with a synchronized kayaking display - it was quite a lovely thing! Had dinner in the cabin and I slept on the pull out couch - very comfy!

    Sunday morning Jim drove to a place to dig crystals on his way to Austin, and Tricia and I drove to Devil's Den State Park in West Fork, AR to find more adventure!

    Our second day in Mountain Home began with us having the rare opportunity to sleep in.     ... the local Shriners are running our show, selling the tickets, and taking the tickets at the gate. My official job title in Mountain Home is "Stroller Stopper". I am doing my part to keep our tent safe from errant strollers that are not allowed inside because of fire regulations per the fire marshal. So far today, that meant one stroller per show. Whew! It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it…

    We get up early and head toward the stream about 7:30. Fortunately no one is at our favorite spot yet so we have it all to ourselves. I catch another 3 fish, Ron lands 4, I think, and Ray gets the most as usual. I'm starting to lose count.     ... then realized what Bob had said he quickly picked it up and took it back to the bar. We got a chuckle out of that. We drove to a spot on the river and stopped to explore a bit. We met a goose family, mommy, daddy & 8 babies feeding on the shore. The daddy kept a close eye on me and when I got a little too close, he moved the family to the water and swam away.
