... I hit the lake again for another shot at fishing. The wind was calm and the sunset beautiful from Strawberry Bar. We didn't have a lot of excitement, but were content with the 4 nice perch we ended up with.

So...since Leah now has her license, she and Chloe drove down in the CR-V. I left at about 1:30 p.m. and made it the 24 miles down to Walker in under 2.5 hours. ... Each time we passed over it we would pull in 2-4 more fish. We ended up with a total of 31 for the morning...16 perch, 12 rock bass, 2 bluegill/sunfish, and the walleye. Not bad for a morning of fishing!

The afternoon was spent cleaning fish (Tom), reading and napping (Linda), and playing games and swimming (the kids). The weather was absolutely beautiful ...
