Leaving Miami. All Packed. Ready to go. We drove from Miami to Lake City. A little over 400 miles and 4 Superchargers. The charging wasn't bad and was located where and when I needed to stop anyway for food and breaks. Diesel was great and seems to be very happy traveling. He left his mark everywhere!! Endless driving on open 2 or 3 lane motor ways, through green country. This Interstate was one of the network of roads started by Eisenhower in the the mid-50s and completed 35 years later . Regular stops for a hundred varieties of fast food, fuel and lodging. Only time we got held up ...

We took a day trip to the town of White Springs, FL. There is quite a bit of stuff to see. I wish that the Adams Country Store would have been open. Looking in the windows showed that there were many great antiques. We were told that they only open when there are activities going on in town.
