... then got out and did another 15 or so miles and then I got back in the van, tough decision but I was afraid I would regret it tomorrow. Everyone else rode 100 miles. I rode 76 which wasn't too shabby for a grandma. I only drank water which I decided was a big mistake. Tomorrow I'll eat a bigger breakfast and drink Gatorade.
The Hampton Inn we are staying at is very nice.
We back-tracked a little by going to Houston first and then back up to Nacogdoches, but it made a lot more sense if we had gone to New Orleans as planned.
