        ... over there.

On 1 Feb, 2003, the shuttle Columbia disintegrated over most of northeast Texas, with the greatest debris falling in the forest surrounding Hemphill. On 1 Feb, 2011, The Patricia Huffman Smith NASA Museum "Remembering Columbia" opened. The purpose of the museum is to pay tribute to the 28 missions the Columbia flew, but especially the last one (STS-107). There is a short film in which some of the volunteers talk about that day and the search for ...

... we were there, but right afterward. So he and Bob have been talking.

We just returned from a walk, which we both needed. I feel like I'm stuffed although we only had baked pot with pulled BBQ beef for dinner and the potatoes were not big!! So now we'll just watch a little TV then turn in. Not sure what we'll do tomorrow, but there are a couple of things in Alto I want to see, so we'll flip a coin or ...

After dinner we took a trip to DQ for some ice cream because we didn't go yesterday when we said we would.

Tomorrow we pack up and head for Rusk, TX and a few days of ...

... their hours on the doors are Mon-Sat 10-5. So we just looked around outside. Nothing else was open. After looking around the museum we drove over to Sam's and had a hot dog then to Walmart for a few things.

Now we're back home and watching TV and relaxing. Tomorrow the guy who is repairing the windshield is supposed to be here about 9 am. After he is finished, we will be visiting some of the sites here in Nacogdoches.

... I told Bob to stay on 59 because I did not realize that we were at the split. Well since we were headed for Nacogdoches, I called a fellow Renegade who lives and works there to see if he could recommend someone to fix the windshield. He did so we called him and went by his business. He said he could fix it, but not until Monday. We went in search of an RV park and ended up here. The other two we saw were, um.....NO!! So we will stay here ...
