As a school teacher, I don't mind snow. Who doesn't love the occasional snow day in the heart of winter. Staying in bed after that early morning call is a true treat. However driving in a blizzard is not a treat and that is what yours truly had to do on January 5. My little bro got married in Nashville and myself and both of my kids were in his wedding. We enjoyed our time and ...

subject that would involve some fun travel to research and write, but in the
end some further research on the volume of sales for such non-fiction guides
made me realize it would only be a labor of love. Total sales for such
specialized books are typically very low, so I abandoned the notion.

The initial research made me aware of where the good

... St. Louis BBQ. At Pappy's, meat is smoked in "Walter" which is their in-house smoker. The restaurant only makes a certain amount of food every day and they close when they run out, which can be early in the day depending on the crowd. There was a 30 minute line just to order our food, so we knew it would be good! We ordered brisket and pulled pork, along with green beans, sweet potato fries, ...
