One of the most beautiful campgrounds I've been to in a very long time. The restrooms were some of the cleanest too. Unfortunately, we went when the wind was galing so we weren't able to enjoy the beach. But there is a very nice hiking trail about 3/4 of a mile on the leeward side that made for a nice break. Would definitely come back again.

... had the idea he wanted to go to Apalachicola before we headed up the coast to visit his brother Steve, who lives in the Pensacola area. I am so glad Leon chose this route. It is called "The Forgotten Coast". I will never forget this area. We pulled into a brand new RV park that just opened a few weeks ago, (Coastline RV Resort.) It sits on the St. George Sound in Eastpoint, Fl. We ...

Wonderful day of walking dogs and exploring the area. We had some sun today and it did hit around 70, the water was pretty smooth and lovely clouds floated by on a gentle breeze. Refreshing. I took some shots of Star taking the dogs for a morning walk. Just after this I took Fiona for another hour walk north on the beach. We also had Jan stop by with her golden Keeper and see where we are. I ventured into Port St. joe for my first shopping trip for groceries to ...

... inches long! We took pictures being very wary of its mouth and ability to thrash at any second. Using the bolt cutters as pliers, Breck got the circle hook out of the jaw and pulling the shark back into the waves, he let it go. The shark did not retaliate as most of us would have after such treatment, but got itself together and left as fast as possible. I hope this shark does not develop an eating ...

... I thought that I should bring everyone up to speed with where we were and that I would do my best to catch up. So before I go on any further about fish I will get y'all caught up and on our adventures in Virginia and Georgia. The proper thing would be for me to start by expanding on the drive from Mass to Virginia. It covers a number of states that the I-95 goes though. We went through New York, Washington, Delaware and Maryland. Stopping only at the rest stops on the I-95 ...
