... on the tram would have missed. Alligators were everywhere, just lying on the side of the road taking it easy and enjoying the sun. We were also lucky enough to see some tiny babies clinging to the neck of their mums. We got very close to the Gators as they were just laying there and at some stages we were less than a meter away. It wasn't until we went the other way on the path that we saw the sign that says stay at least 5m away, that is a little hard ...

When we returned back to our Guesthouse we were pleasantly surprised to find a free wine happy hour taking place with cheese, crackers and nuts. We got chatting to some guests staying there including a lady (about 50yrs old) and her mother who were travelling the world together and had some very interesting stories.Like the rest of the US, Key West had ...

... Essentially it is a 60 mile wide slow flowing river which creates a huge swamp. It isn't especially attractive, but it is home to Alligators. Out first activity of the day was a wetland walk. We waded up to our waist through a cypress tree swamp and saw snakes, owls and may other interesting flora and fauna. Yes - this IS a place ...
