... Fifteen minutes later, when we had been scheduled to arrive, the plane was still in our spot, so we remained waiting on the runway. It was never explained why we couldn't go into one of the several vacant spaces that we could see available, a little frustrating, but half hour later we parked up and disembarked. Then came the small matter of getting through US immigration. I don't think in all the times I've been to America that I have ever had anything ...

... you are too far over, and stay to the right probably didn’t help.

We made our way down the Florida Keys which is 126 miles long and connected by 42 bridges. ... the national parks northern boarder and that lead straight into Florida City, my stay for the next couple of nights. Of course the GPS running google maps kept telling me to u-turn back to the freeway. The biggest flaw with that app is you can't plan a route. It's point A to point B only. And by what it considers the fastest route. Deviations are against it's programming, and it hates it. Especially on my phone where it can't hold a GPS signal. I travel the ...

... and wild, then headed back to town.

On the way back we stopped at Dolphin Mall, a huge outlet shopping centre, where again, very few people spoke English. We had lunch and just sat watching everyone. Lots of people bought suitcases, and we imagined them filling them with designer fashion and sports shoes before their next trip home to Nicaragua or Honduras. Miami is ...
