    Stopped early at RV park, went to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens saw lots of different palm trees from around the world this place collects palm trees that are going extinct and grows them here.
    Also they have a butterfly garden with hundreds of butterflys fluttering around you it was pretty neat.

    ... I booked and bought a sandwich too while I was there. I saw there was a short walk near where I was, so I drove to the camp grounds just a little further down the road. Because this wasn't peak camping season, half the camp ground was shut. And the other end of the other camping area was where the trail started.     ... the national parks northern boarder and that lead straight into Florida City, my stay for the next couple of nights. Of course the GPS running google maps kept telling me to u-turn back to the freeway. The biggest flaw with that app is you can't plan a route. It's point A to point B only. And by what it considers the fastest route. Deviations are against it's programming, and it hates it. Especially on my phone where it can't hold a GPS signal. I travel the ...

    ... largest 19th century American masonry coastal forts. During the Civil War it was used as a military prison and you can walk around the fort at your leisure (which we did) or take a guided tour. The Fort is surrounded by crystal clear water that is perfect for snorkelling in. The best thing we saw was some large barracuda.
