... Northern Lakes Route. I was a little nervous about going completely off the beaten path, but I was armed with MN maps and advice from locals I met at the Gas n Go. The ride today was a bit rough with road construction on Route 23 to Mora, MN, but I rewarded myself with a visit to the Dairy Queen drive-thru. ...

... Cambridge which was cool cause I got to see another farm! So once delivering the boxes in Cambridge we grabbed some lunch from the deli in there and I had a grilled panini. It was super yummy and I was so hungry I gobbled it down - whoops! We then drove back to the farm and unfortunately I had slept badly the night before so by 1.30pm I was just exhausted! Never in my life have I seen such a big tractor! They grow soy beans, oats and corn! Yum yum! so on our drive home I got to sit in the back of the truck with all the bales of straw! It was so cool!!! Best way to see the countryside with the wind blowing through your hair!! Once we got home Sarah and I started on the mushroom project for Jim ...

... but that was intense! I then did the chicken chores and then later on in the evening Jim weed whacked the rows where we had flagged so he wouldn't run over the asparagus and rhubarb and then we went through the rows and picked up as much of the torn up weeds as possible. That was another grizzly task but as always, hard work pays off and it was really rewarding to see the difference! It looks so ...
