... to hide from us as well by staring at the wall and putting their heads down. Poor things. After that I can now say I can catch a chicken fairly easily! It was so nice to cuddle them though!! The chickies!!!! So much love for them. Sarah and I are off to bed and we are hoping that the severe thunderstorms that are predicted will not be too severe!!! Sad that I have to leave tomorrow though. Gonna miss it and I'm gonna miss the farm ...

... I had sweat dripping all down my legs... Especially the back of my legs! Yuck! However the weeding that I've done looks really good. The potatoes are slowly coming out of their "jungle coma"! When Deb got home I helped her with the groceries and then got the quad bike and hauled 2 bags of chicken feed over to the one chicken coop... And each bag weighs 50 pounds! Whoa! What a busy day today was! We only got started at about 10am but I am pooped now! Today we had to get the harvesting of the vegetables done for the deliveries tomorrow and we are delivering 22 boxes! So I first started out by harvesting the wombok... 22 of them!! Then I went on a mission to clean out the chickens water... That took me at least a good hour! It was really gross and it looks so much better now that it's clean and algae-free! Yay! I'm sure the chickens will enjoy ...

... but that was intense! I then did the chicken chores and then later on in the evening Jim weed whacked the rows where we had flagged so he wouldn't run over the asparagus and rhubarb and then we went through the rows and picked up as much of the torn up weeds as possible. That was another grizzly task but as always, hard work pays off and it was really rewarding to see the difference! It looks so ...

... you on their own terms. It's really funny watching them run to you, away from you and just running in general! Chickens can just always make you smile :) collected 25 eggs today which is great! Unfortunately a few had been slightly cracked so we can't sell them but at least that means it's more eggs for us to eat here! I also went into the hoop house and chatted to Deb for a while and also observed all the veggies growing. The cucumbers and tomatoes have ...
