We made a stop in Mineola, Texas . . . in what appeared to be a bit of a worn out town. I snapped a picture . . . with three stores on a main street . . . "Vintage Charm," "Taste of Italy," and an old hotel "Beckham Hotel Coffee Shoppe!" They have a certain 'charm,' but I doubt it is everyone's cup of tea (or coffee!).
... them walk by with buckets of BIG ugly catfish! I understand there are also bass and ****** in this lake, but these Texas folks LOVE their catfish (me? I can't sneak up on them - they're just plain ugly as hell!)
Mornings start early, with a cacaphony of bird songs waking us up - cardinals, mockingbirds, a woodpecker or two, and at night, I sometimes ...
