Heute sind wir in Raglan angekommen, dem Surferparadies von Neuseeland. Wir wohnen in einem netten Hostel auf dem Berg mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer. Leider ein bissl abseits, deswegen ziehen wir morgen runter in den Ort. Hier wollen wir naemlich ein bisschen ...

We flew from Christchurch to Auckland, somehow this took almost all day and so there is little to report. We didn't bother going into Auckland, since we wanted to see the natural wonders of the island as apposed to the cities here. If we have time in the end of the 7 days here, we'll see Wellington. ... throw together, but we had no extra clothes along....so to our dismay, after returning our stuff, we headed back to Tauranga without going to a halloween party. The drive back was really easy. Just outside of Tauranga, there is a large mountain range that we had to cross in our car. At night, on top of the mountain, while driving, I saw more stars than I think I ever have in my entire life. I tried to take a picture of them....with no luck. The end.

... close to where we'd been a few days earlier. They were staying at an outdoor centre there. We were glad the Blackwater Rafting Company have safety in mind and had cancelled their trips. The next day the rain had ceased and the surf was up so we went out in the morning and had a go, Rick on a bodyboard and me on a Mini-Mal surfboard. ... worth the climb. We finished the walk at 4pm, just in time to catch the bus back to the hostel. Also while we were in Taupo we had to get a W.O.F done for the car (M.O.T), it failed unfotunately due to a small dent in a 'crumple zone' on the right sill. So we had the hassle and added expense of having to drive out to the panel beaters on the other side of town to try to get it fixed, luckily the guy passed it when we took it back to them ...
