        ... than getting wet feet. He did not have a fishing licence for New Hampshire or he would have "wet the proverbial line".

        We are really in the back woods - treated more with suspicion and no longer a novelty. That is how I felt when we walked into the local store - advertised as selling "generally everything". It even came with an external defibrillator, making it a great spot to have your heart attack.

        ... our bags! AH! then headed down MOOSE the perfect time of day to spot the mooses.....but, alas, no mooses.....

        Ended up at Back Bay in time to check into Tall Timber Lodge....a step back into the 50's!!!

        ... go hiking, mountain bike riding or kayaking with guides, have tennis lessons, play chess, and there was even a culinary appreciation center! As much as we all would have liked to have stayed there for a week, it was WAY out of our budget, so back to The Errol Motel it was. Dinner was 8 miles down the road, at The Bull Moose Restaurant, a dodgy looking place but with super-friendly staff and locals and good food - they even had a Weight-Watchers ...

        Needing gas I pulled into a Gulf station....ugh...$3.20 A GALLON FOR HIGH TEST.... guess it's so high because they are next to the is what it is when the reserve light is on. We are now on VT 114 and tracing the VT/CN border for awhile before turning south on VT114. This is some spectacular riding in the Northeast Kindom (NEK) of VT. Eventually VT114 turns south through the Kingdom State Forest....another well protected and beautiful piece of NE ...
