      ... a new one for us – we have sailed early morning and we have, usually, sailed around midday. It will be wonderful if we get a lovely sunset as we sail through Queen Charlotte Sound on our way to Wellington – and so far it looks good – the sun is shining and there is very little cloud.

      Kortne and I met up just before Waiouru so we could do the last leg of the journey in a convoy. In true RockUp style I was required to follow her vehicle because the RockUp trailer still didn't have any rear lights. We drove into the military camp at about 9pm, in darkness, and stopped at the entrance gate to show our IDs.
